What is your proudest accomplishment as a leader?

That I’ve always made the time and space to celebrate those around me – making sure that every individual on my team knows their efforts are appreciated.

What is the one piece of advice you’d give to other aspiring women leaders?

Female friendships are so valuable and necessary in life. Having a working relationship with your colleagues is great, but having friendships will carry you far. Ask for help, be generous with your time, and all will be well!

What inspires you most about your work or your industry?

I enjoy connecting with individuals at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey. Transforming an idea into a company requires grit, determination, and luck, while growing a business demands consistency and skill. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support and be a part of these diverse journeys where I can…it is a community that is always inspiring and motivating.

Who is a woman from history (or your own life) who has inspired you, and why?

My aunt Mimi Carter! She is what I would call a “force multiplier” – someone that amplifies and uplifts every person they meet. She is the most conscientious supporter of me, a woman of integrity, and the best person in Venture Capital that I’ve ever met.

In one word, how would you describe the legacy you want to leave as a leader?
